I just went there to purchase a washer, dryer and TV. The employee was laying on the couch on her personal computer. She told me she is unable to sell me anything due to an inventory hold. I've never heard anything like this in my life. This was my 1st and last time walking into a Belk.
Walked in, sat down on a piece of furniture and was immediately approached and told to leave because I didn’t want to buy a couch on the spot while shopping with my fiancé inside Belk. Then the employee went back to sitting on another couch with a coworker, with their section of Belk being empty of any other potential customers.
