2025 update: Connections Counseling had changed the way they do things. I am very happy with my therapist and the office staff. They are the best office for mental health and helped me with the death of my husband. So please know they have helped me live and change. If I could give a negative review, I would. Do NOT use this place. I had a therapy appointment last week and they cancelled last minute due to a family emergency for the therapist (I get it, I have family issues also) they rescheduled for today. I was working with Jake Dastrup, and I found him to be wonderful! Whenever we would have a session he would be accommodating, wait for me to be ready, was never irritated or impatient. He always smiles and loves to let you think things over which was really helpful for me. One major thing about Jake is he never tells you you’re wrong about something, he helps you see both sides to any situation, good and bad and helps you turn bad experiences into good ones.
