I have been using Connecticut Saw and tool for well over 15 years. They have always supplied the highest quality service. Both with sharpening service and new tooling solutions. I can whole heartedly give them the highest recommendation!
I trusted them to "only home " 4 custom knives I made for very good clients of mine. They sent back 4 horribly ground and completely destroyed pieces. I will be unable to save the knives I made. The handles of each knife was exotic hardwoods I have collected over my 40 years as a cabinetmaker. They were and now very much are irreplaceable.. they actually sent me a bill with my destroyed knives. Not cool all the way around..
I called to see if they still sharpen chainsaw chain. Although the no longer do, the Receptionist was polite and extremely knowledgeable. It used to be easy to get new chain for a Stihl 032AV, not so easy nowadays. I'll keep on with my search.
