They are not honest about cost. I was told my insurance was run and remaining amount due was $944, which I paid. A few months later they are sending me bills for an additional $900 for the procedure and $300 for anesthesia. This is ridiculous and unethical. If there were going to be additional costs, they needed to be disclosed UP FRONT BEFORE THE PROCEDURE WHEN I ASKED so I could consent and make an informed decision whether to proceed or not. This is a terrible business model and is legally dubious.
