First off let me start by saying that everyone in this office is extremely kind. My complaint is that I went for an eye exam for prescription glasses and the tech dilated my eye even though I stated various times that I needed an eye exam and that if they dilated my eyes I could not do the exam. They assured me that the doctor would be in before the dilation medicine took effect. It turns out that they actually do this on purpose to save the doctor time and to make more money. The receptionist and Dr. Austin were very kind and listened to my issues. I highly recommend Dr. Austin.

I just want to take the time and thank the wonderful staff at CT EYE CENTER for taking me as a new patient due to having Pain Pressure in my right eye they put me in right away, very thankful =) My first time at this practice after not visiting an eye doctor over 2 years since my previous Doctor Retired, they made me feel very welcomed and informed me of protocols due to Covid19 when I arrived chairs and door knobs was being sanitized, everyone in the office had mask made me feel safe. Yesterday, I was very anxious going to Duane Austin MD because of Covid-19. The receptionist should get five stars for her compassion. But, I was handed a pen & clipboard to sign my name. I had told her I was very anxious, it was my first venture into a business & that I had COPD. The DR came into the room masked, sat 3 feet away to read my chart, then he moved his mask below his nose.
