The PT was wonderful but the billing department engages in duplicitous billing practices. My insurance covers PT but they refuse to bill properly. Instead of billing as PT services, they bill as "hospital services" provided by "Connecticut Children's Medical Hospital". I put in an appeal and they refused to make a change. The insurance company even had a 3 way call asking if they could just change the wording and CCMC refused. Terrible. Talk about surprise billing. $500 for a 45-minute "evaluation" session for a 10 month old. Never disclosed this outrageous cost. Refused to come to a reasonable resolution. Would not recommend dealing with them at all.
