I called to get more information, and the therapist who answered wanted to know more about me. She encouraged me to open up and listened to everything I had to say, asking specific questions. But in the end, she said she didn’t feel comfortable working with me, which really hurt. It's disappointing how some people, through their words and how they express themselves, can make you feel so bad. After the call, I couldn’t shake the feeling of being upset
I first began working with my therapist in 2017 at a very low point in my life and she really helped to build my strength, self awareness and overall health. We have continued ever since at different cadences based on how life is going. If it were possible to give zero I would. The therapist my son went to see at Connecte was actually harmful. It was a terrible experience.
My daughter was seeing one of the therapists for anxiety/panic attacks and she had a wonderful experience. When most therapists were still only doing zoom therapy, this therapist was seeing patients in person which according to my daugher was a key to her sucess in learning to control her panic attacks. Couldn't be happier!
