I had a 1:1 with Lydia at Golden PT & Pilates last Wednesday. Experience: loved it, took a lot of focus for each exercise, really makes you aware of all of your various body parts, and focusing on each area while doing new movements - Tuesday was my first experience doing any form of Pilates - and just love the atmosphere there - going back on Monday to meet another Pilates instructor too!
I can’t say enough great things about this studio!! The instructors and physical therapists are all so knowledgeable and make it a point to educate you along the way. Each and every one of them strive for us to succeed and it really shows. The studio has a beautiful and communal feel to it. I HAD (emphasis on past tense!) tennis elbow as well as tendon issues on one of my knees. Dr. Carrie Lamb administered Shockwave therapy on both sites. After the first treatment, I felt better. After the second treatment, I felt normal and was able to use my joints with no pain. I received shockwave therapy from Sammi Harmon and had a great experience. She was skilled, knowledgeable, receptive to my feedback, and best of all I can feel the positive results after just a few sessions.
I have been attending classes since the studio opened and have never been disappointed. Every instructor is conscientious as to my needs and always inquires before each class. At age, almost, 72 I feel this type of exercise keeps me “young” and strong.
