Some of the food is OK. It’s all overpriced. The service is really good. And the atmosphere is not bad at all. I understand rent is high for these places. But you can’t justify charging that much for food thats not that good.
The food was great! I highly recommend the empanada to start and the chocolate tres leches cake for dessert. The alcoholic drinks were a bit strong. I got the Mula, which wasn’t as strong but had a very smoky taste. For the main course, we shared the mole amarillo. This is a great option if you want to avoid spice. Fantastic and exceptionally balanced flavors in everything, from the mole dishes to the agua frescas and desserts, complemented by great service. We're vegetarian, and we also really appreciated that the non-meat versions of the entrees are as thoughtful as the meat ones, not just skipping the meat or replacing it with tofu.
Had 2 drinks and a shareable platter. Flavors were exceptional
Not Tex-mex. Actual Mexican food. Really tasty and fresh. Good service and nice patio.
