Not only was our wedding cake absolutely delicious and gorgeous, but working was Thea was such a joy. It truly mattered to her that our wedding cake came out absolutely perfectly. Wedding planning can be so stressful, but a communicative vendor eases that exponentially. I knew our cake would be perfect based on Thea's attentiveness to my level of detail, as well as her kindness and patience with us as I even changed my mind a couple times about the design. Highly highly recommend Confections by the Sea!
I don't think google has enough stars for Thea. I worked with Confections by the Sea for my MBA graduation cake and it was a seamless experience. The cake was beyond my expectations! Thea took time to understand the design I was looking for. She made sure that she guided me in a way where each piece I asked for could be incorporated. From the tiny details she added to each design and planning/communicating with her it was so easy and stress free. Planning can be so overwhelming. If I could rate them higher than five stars, I absolutely would. Thea was so patient and thorough while we discussed the vision for my in-laws anniversary cake and through my (many) changes and questions. She delivered the cake onsite and arranged the fresh florals expertly. The cake was, quite literally, exactly what I had hoped for. We had a great experience with Thea. She was able to fit us in as we planned a very small and last-minute wedding. Thea prepared a cake tasting for us with a moment's notice. This was our very first impression - she was incredibly accommodating to our schedule, not to mention kind and welcoming - the kind of person you feel like you have known forever.
