I've called this place six times since I was given a referral for an MRI on Monday, July 25th. Everytime, I'm sent straight to voicemail for scheduling an appointment. I've left a voicemail with my contact details each time. Nobody has bothered to call me back. I find this extremely unprofessional. **Edited to say: no, I won't be calling you back. I took my business (and money) elsewhere. I secured an appointment withing 48 hours of calling another imaging center.**

I was referred here for a thyroid ultrasound. After scheduling, I got an estimate with a price of $898. After my insurance, I would still be responsible for around $624. I remembered reading that you can shop around for things like this (never mentioned to me by any medical professional). I called DRI and the cost is about 1/4. When I called Cone the man admitted the prices are very high because they are connected to a hospital- whatever that means. This is so wild to me. I checked in when I got there, told me I had to go somewhere else. At least have the courtesy, to tell me ahead of time, before I got there that I had to go somewhere else for a diagnostic.

Today I had a brain MRI completed at MedCenter Greensboro Imaging- my first MRI ever. I was so nervous, to say the least. However, I felt so comfortable and well cared for as soon as I walked in the door. I can’t remember the receptionist name, but she was so lovely! Crystal and Tabitha were so sweet and patient with me. They walked me through every step of the way and kept me feeling at ease.
