Nothing emergent about this hospital its sad when u would rather stay home and take your chances with not waking up I literally CRIED IN THE AMBULANCE when the EMS told me thats where they were taking me because i was a kidney and heart patient . I was treated very well by the nurses, very attentive to everything.
Two nights ago, my cousin had a motorcycle wreck. My husbAnd and I took his wife, a diabetic with anxiety, to see him. My husband begged to go in with her. He was refused. Another man working there said he would go with her to help her find his room. The electronic doors open she went in by herself. My husband said aren’t you going with her. He received no response. The worst hospital in Greensboro Cone Health ER, for the child to wait for the doctor for over 6 hours, for someone to come and see why the 5-year-old suddenly got high fever 104. She was given Ibuprofen and that's all for now. I am angry because there is no organization and no interest.I,m really sooooooooooo angry.
They made an appointment for me for another two days later. Now we are 7 days out. My foot is getting worse. I followed ALL of their instructions. I arrived to the wound care specialist. Waited about three hours, although I must say that the nurses there were SO kind. For the first time that foot was properly numbed and cleaned. I was sent home in horrific pain and an oozing infection which was developing gangrene. "Dr.Devine" sent me home with an oral antibiotic AFTER telling me in the presence of an RN and NP that I needed the aggressive IV antibiotic therapy, no pain medication, I was told to take Tylenol- And NO I am not an addict of any kind!
