The only good thing about this place was the location. We stayed in room 24D and it was absolutely disgusting! There was a razor blade in the draw, old cigarette butts in drawers, mould, cobwebs… absolutely filthy!! When we called the owner they said they would do us a favour a refund us… but charge US a cleaning fee of $200! Do not book this condo
I made a mistake staying here. I read the reviews but thought they must have been exaggerated. Now I see they were not. I was here in the middle of last year. My room was basic. It looked a lot nicer on the website, and the photos were outdated. The room has not been maintained over time I guess. The view was excellent and the location is good, though loud (for anyone thinking this is to be expected when staying in Surfers Paradise, true, however the hotels I've stayed in in the area were not loud. I actually live here, and just wanted to say to any prospective holidaymakers...this is not a hotel. It is predominantly a residential building of 120 apartments. About 20 are rented out as serviced apartments / short term holiday lets and private Airbnbs. Many of those are unrenovated and very dated (the building was constructed in 1975). Some apartments are renovated and nice. If you want a spacious 3 bedroom apartment with expansive views and completely renovated, ask for 14A (level 14). Room 1D I wish to formally raise serious concerns regarding the condition, safety, and suitability of the premises. Our stay has been unsatisfactory due to multiple issues relating to maintenance, hygiene, and security. Several common facilities are damaged, unsafe, or unserviceable. The tennis court is out of service, the BBQ area is unhygienic, and unauthorised members of the public are able to access the property and use the pool facilities.
