Dont trust this place for booking accommodation. They cancelled our booking 10 days before we were meant to attend. We booked it 8months in advance. Now taking them to Qld Civil Administration Tribunal. Ridiculous and id say they found someone to stay at triple cost due to car racing but used a crap excuse. DO NOT USE as they cannot be trusted.
This accommodation was the most disappointing and dirty I’ve stayed in for a long time. Broken furniture, no broom or working vacuum to clean with. Fan and smoke alarm hanging from roof. Sheets in main bedroom torn and patched. Broken lamps and roller blinds. No batteries in any remote control. Fans/tv , no onsite management to speak to, phone or email only. Never again. I usually stay in Broadbeach when I visit the GC but wanted to be closer to some friends who live in Surfers. I have never felt so unwanted and unwelcomed in a hotel in my life! Then I realised it's not a hotel at all, and everyone actually lives there, with just a few rented out apartments for holidays. There was no reception or office, and just a key safe. This property was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed in. Do not be fooled by the photos. They show one imagine and give you a totally different apartment. The floors were sticky, blood on the sheets, as well as dirt and hair on the bed linen, the fans not working, a broken tv placed behind a working one, the tap not even attached to the basin.
