Kashmir was great. She was friendly, quick, and on point all throughout our meal. The hard corn taco shells were both new to me(I've not had any that good before) and very tasty. All of the fillings and sides are flavorful . Add in a great lunch special deal, and we all (6 of us) agreed that we'll be back.
The Kenwood location is nothing like Oakley. The vibe is not good. The hostess at the door handed us our menus and pointed to the table we were to sit at without escorting us. The food is the same however my wife ordered a taco that wasnt supposed to have anything spicy on it and she got some type of sauce that was so hot she couldn't finish dinner. One older gentleman came out and refilled our water glasses and was incredibly nice. Thats the only compliment I can give about this location.
I was really wanting this Condado location to be like the one in Oakley that I love so much! Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. You know how first impressions are,, and when I have a hostess that is visibly unhappy to be at work it's not a great start. She pointed to a table and handed us our menus instead of walking us to the table. Service was slow, maybe they were understaffed. The food was okay once it arrived, except one of my tacos wasn't made correctly. I will stick to the Oakley location!
Amazing food and staff! Best tacos I've had in a long time, one taco is basically a meal there's so much packed into them.
The food here is just not good. We ordered a couple of different bowls, tacos, and guacamole. The bowls were huge but the quality was bad with each item taking like a worse version of what you get at other fast casual TexMex places. The fajita veggies we got were so spicy they were hard to eat, the chicken was dry, etc. I think they soley rely on being upscale taco bell with a bunch sauces, but the actual food itself is not good.
