Addendum March 19th. We asked for the colour originally requested and we did not request a more shined. After pulling the construction paper off covering the floors from the trades people working, areas of the floor were worse than we first recalled. We reached out to Youri again and proposed that we would perform the work ourselves if he provided the stain and sealer. Addendum March 18, 2026 Upon reading your response: Lie #1. There is NO FURNITURE in the space Lie#2 My husband could not tell the final colour when it was wet; on January 1'st, when I saw it, we immediately called after the holidays; upon realizing the final colour was light red, not dark brown. Lie #3 We had asked for "some polish" not dull and blotchy, as you can see in the pictures; they Do NOT LIE. Addendum March 7, 2026 We have begun to uncover the protective floor covering as different tradespeople complete their work in some rooms. To our dismay; the master bathroom concrete floor is even WORSE than we thought. There are light blotches in areas that cannot be covered with area rugs due to in floor heating. In the great room and guest bedroom, there are corners that did not receive any stain?! Did our $15000 bill not include the corners?!
