I had a "pre-purchase" inspection of a Mazda C30 I purchased used at CarMax. Although CarMax does a thorough inspection, I wanted the peace of mind from knowing that a Mazda service center double-checked everything. Although it wasn't cheap ($300), it was worth knowing that the car was, indeed, in great condition.
