A referral was submitted by my pcp due to a concern of malignancy on January 26th. I hadn’t heard from them after 3 days so I called them myself. They acknowledged receipt of the referral and told me they would be in touch shortly. I called again on 01/30/2026 and I only had the option to leave a voicemail. As of this past Monday, I still hadn’t heard from them. I called my pcp again to have a referral submitted to Mass General. Dr Romanow and his office are price gouging. I wish I’d have read the reviews before going. I see I’m not the only one he said performed a nasal endoscopy and that I gave consent. I did not and he spent 5 minutes with me. Looked in my nostrils for 5 seconds each side and was billed $900. DO NOT GO TO THIS HACK DR. RATING IS 0.
After all sorts of sinus problems and surgeries, Dr. Wood, in 2021, ran a scope, and told me everything looks fine. Didn't care about any issues I was still having. He was not interested in anything other than running that scope and ushering me out the door. I will say that Medical Records has been kind to me in getting those records to another ENT. I didn't catch the lady's name today, but she is very good.
The poor reviews are surprising to me! I'm a patient of Dr. Romanow's who respects his medical opinions and treatment advice, and very much appreciates how he explains things in a straightforward and professional manner. Plus, I find the team he works with to be kind and friendly.
FIRST: I cannot understand why there are so few positive and ANY negative reviews for the Concord Otolaryngology Office at the Concord Hospital - Horseshoe Pond location, which results in a 1.9 review total!
