About the worst communicator I have ever come across for a Dr. She has a deep seated care less attitude with no concern for the patient what so ever. She diagnosed me and left me hanging as to what can be done. She mentioned one possible treatment but could not recommend it due to a previous operation I had had. No real prognosis or a viable treatment. Would not even spell out the ailment nor describe just what it was, she left it to the assistant as she was walking out of the exam room. I had the best experience with Dr. Lisa Tom. She performed glaucoma and cataract surgery one eye, other eye planned soon with her. My vision is so perfect now in the post op eye and I know it will be successful in the other. Staff very professional & supportive. Thank you.
Too bad we can't give negative numbers. I waited 2 hours and 40 minutes to see Dr. Tom for less than 5 minutes. No communication whatsoever. She walked out on me mid-sentence when I tried to ask her a question, and closed the door behind her. Her medical assistant was embarrassed and tried to cover for her. I found another specialist closer to home, with whom I am very satisfied.
I liked Dr. Tom very much. She explained everything very clearly and understood my concerns about my eyes. Thanks for your help Dr. Tom Don
