Beware!! The session with VCAT was completed, and I was awarded compensation. The dealer - "Mr Jennings", the owner of Concrord Car Sales, had no qualms whatsoever lying through his teeth in VCAT. It was simply unbeliavble! He provided no credible evidence of his own, and yet, refuted and rubbished a diesel specialist report -> Cornells Diesel Specialists (the only mehacnics who throughly tested the vehicle for the issues reported). Stay away!!! Dave, George and William are experts at ripping customers off! I took them to Vcat. Paid top dollar for a vehicle with major defects, that were not disclosed during the sale. George , said he used to be a mechanic, he checked the car, and it's got no issues. Yes, right. Only 11 weeks later, Repairs are over $16,000 for a car that cost 19,500!! Fantastic experience, brilliant car. I hadn't intended to look at the Focus in this car yard, but the sales person (apologies, can't remember his name) was fantastic, understood that I knew something about cars, worked with me to ensure a great deal for both parties, excellent car, she is still going strong and I am grateful for having stopped by Concord.
Beware!! I purchased a used 4WD vehicle from Concord Car Sales, paid for it $19,500 (top dollar, considering that Redbook valuation is only $12,990), because the dealer ASSURED me that he used to be a mechanic, that he checked the car and that the car HAS NO ISSUES. On my first trip out of the city I got stuck (but naively I said to myself, it is only a one off, the dealer said the car is fine, right?).
