I spoke to Brian yesterday. He told me to drop it off this morning. I thought my issue might be fuel (pump or tank) related. It turns out to be a transmission issue. This morning Ken noticed I had a transmission fluid leak. He filled the transmission oil and suggested I take it to the transmission shop. Concord Auto repaired our 2008 Saturn Astra AC system. After some challenges getting an evaporator due to the age of my vehicle , the work was completed in a timely manner and our AC system is now ICE COLD. Thanks Anthony and Ken for all your help.
I took my Mazda to Concord Auto Service earlier this week for a service and to check my suspension. I normally go to the Mazda garage but that's always been hit or miss. I had a great experience - they were fast, very clear about what they found (minimal on a 12 year car) and reassured me that my suspension was in great nick too. I've found my new garage.
