Unfortunately I feel bad for the 2 incredible nurse and Physical Therapist who help me during my healing. As when it comes to management they are not responsible and very neglectful. It seems that the most important thing is getting paid my PT ended since 1st week of March despite requesting a discharge as I was told no one came nor called and my communication with the PT was used as a note to my file how pathetic is this? This agency demonstrates a concerning lack of urgency and accountability in serving the residents of Port St. Lucie. As an organization regulated by both Medicare and AHCA, there is an expectation of timely, responsive, and patient-centered care standards that were clearly not met in this experience. A referral was left unaddressed for almost a week with absolutely no follow-up or communication. This company was assigned to care for an elderly person. It appears that they do not hire employees to care for the patients, but all sub-contractors. Many of the individual care providers were very good. However, the company does not order/send the supplies the care providers need, requiring the provider to purchase their own supplies. The one time that we needed a in-home nurse, we were told that one was "not available". It took 29 hours for one to come out. However, that weekend a virtual nurse called. Terrible experience with this company. My mother needs both occupational and physical therapy due to a fall that resulted in several broken bones. The first OT they sent (Michelle), was the rudest person I've ever encountered in Healthcare. Instead of letting us explain the issues with my mother, she had her own agenda and didn't want to listen to us. I requested Grant for post-op physical therapy because my friend had recovered so well. Grant is one of the best PTs I’ve worked with—knowledgeable and caring. He showed me how to stay safe and get back to my regular activity after my hip replacement. Concierge also provided wonderful nursing care. Ask for nurse Jane! She’s thorough, kind and attentive. She helped me through post-op discomfort and increased my confidence that I was healing. Jane is another great reason to ask for Concierge.
