Ken and his crew from Concept-1 were very helpful explaining all the fixes that were required to get my 1978 VW Bus back on the road. Now I am a happy camper. I highly recommend this crew!
I recently bought a “freeway flyer” transmission from Concept-1 for a Karmann Ghia restomod. Very happy with it! It’s paired with a 2110 cc engine (90.5 x 82). The transmission will cruise at 100km/hr at 3100rpm. I’m very happy with the service and Ken’s patience in answering all my questions. I would highly recommend Concept-1 transmissions for anyone doing a custom build with a performance engine.
I recently ordered some rear quarter lights for a bay window bus. The quality of one of the housings was so rough it was not usable. They gladly sent another one free of charge and it’s perfect. I appreciate their customer care. When I’ve visited Calgary they’re very nice and welcoming. Wish they had an open store front like they used to but I understand why things changed. Excellent service, sent a very hard to find manual to UK from Canada.
Curtis and team have been a big part to getting my project on the road, and have saved me more than one occasion when in a pinch - Most recently with hard to find output shaft seals at 5:00 on a Friday. I have found that if you see a product on Pelican Parts/FCPeuro, Concept1 can likely get it in at the same price if not cheaper, and with a faster turnaround. Good to have a local company like this in Calgary.
