Strict but . . . My wife and I saw him 6 years ago for diabetes. He was strict and disliked small talk. I asked him if he ever smiled, and he said "Of course but did you come here to find a friend or get a medical opinion?" He promised to donate $50 to each of our favorite charities if we lost 15 lbs in 3 months. On our next visit, I lost 17 lbs, my wife gained 2 lbs. Terrible bedside manner- Even worse office staff Dr Concepcion is not the most friendly or collegial doctor ever. He does not discuss your care and is curt and offer little in terms of explanations. He seems callous and cold and indifferent to your condition and has terrible bed side manner. To make matters worse, the office manager and staff are terrible too. Very unhelpful and unorganized, they fail to verify simple things like insuarance coverage. They wait till after you take half a day off from work and show up at the o... read more
Horrible experience- Do Not Use Dr. would not listen to patient at all. Would not review the patient's recent medical test and would not acknowledge the patient's many symptoms. When the patient started crying because he wouldn't even listen to the symptoms or anything the patient said, he told the patient to find another doctor and to leave.
WONDERFUL DOCTOR DR.Concepcion is an excellent DR with an equally caring staff.I took an older family member to see him for thyroid care and she has received the best treatment and care!The DR always listens as if he is hearing things said for the first time. My family member had a stroke years back and can be difficult at times.Appointments,tests,medicines and scheduling are just some of the reminders often phoned to my family member as she is forgetful.If you are seeking a great endocrinologist you just found one!
