Update: Called for appointment 5 months after repair with the same problem as before.. Price quoted on laptop repair, $100 for dropping it off and $100 per hour of work (charged at 15 minute intervals. I passed. Original review: 3 Months Later Review. 3 Months Later Review. My 1 y/o HP laptop screen wouldn't come on or if it did, the pointer wouldn't click but instead just make a selection square when moved. After trying solutions from the internet it seemed that I would have to buy another computer and hey I'm not rich! My last solution was going to ComTech on Adams, which is a bit tricky to spot. It took some tinkering but the owner figured out that the battery, though properly plugged in, had been screwed down too hard (by me) and was missing a screw in a vital spot. H... read more

$100 diagnostic fee is insane and $100/hr service is crazier. it’s not that hard to fix a computer
