Liars ,Users, Thieves – Did business with Compton for 1-1/2 years as a steel erector ,they dragged me along not paying me for what I invoiced but well knowing they got paid for my work ,stucked with them cause being contracted almost closed my doors numerous times , till this day they owe me over 33k for a job i finished back in may 2011 and also kept 2,500k retainer that dates back just as long, they put a big act as big christian people there kids went christian schools but all they are low down scums, liars and theives th... read more

WARNING..do not do business with Compton Steel/John Compton – We did work for this company in March 2011 and they have yet to pay us. I went by the business and it appears to be CLOSED They advised they would pay but to this day still no payment. BEWARE, do not do work for this company, you will NOT get paid. They will get paid from their vendors then run with the money and not pay your for your work!!!!! No returned phone calls no returned emails, not even from the President.. poor business ethic with these folks – got us to do several thousand dollors worth of work in January never paid,never answer the phone now I hear they are closed.

Don't Use Them--They Don't Pay Their Bills! – Compton and Sons purchased product from us with a purchase order on 1/12/2011. The skate deterrents were shipped and received by them in January. We invoiced them for the $691.00 and to date (August 17, 2011) after repeated phone calls and e-mails to their accounting staff and then several members of the Compton family they still have not paid. They do not answer their phones and do not return phone calls or e-mails. Do not use this company!
