Shop around. My dog went in for a tooth extraction. 2 visits, $1,000 many tests. After 2 visits no tooth extraction. They quoted a further $2000 for the actual tooth extraction. Total was going to be $3,000. Went to a local vet, got a free 10 minute dental examination. Tooth was extracted and the bill was $680.00.
