To tell you the truth I didn't really want to be here. I didn't want help when I was first admitted. I struggled those first days and then when I realized I couldn't beat the system I had to put an effort in. Dr. Carroll was very patient with me and he helped guide me through the most difficult times. I've been sober for 5 months now and I owe my success primarily to this facility and its dedicated nurses and doctors. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

There were moments where certain counselors really listened and that stuck with me. The environment was basic and not as calm as I imagined, yet it still gave me space away from my normal routine to clear my head. I wouldn’t call it perfect or easy, but it did what I needed at that point in my life — it helped me get through detox safely and reminded me that asking for help was the right decision. Dr. Wainright really helped in my darkest hours and I won't forget him.
