Just have to say that I have been using this vet clinic for years and would recommend it to anyone who cares about their pets. In the years that I have lived in the Lansing area I have have had many pets of my own and fostered many more than that. I first met Dr Bola when one of our older dogs was sick, I took her in and both he and his wife were there. Both were compassionate and caring answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns on what was wrong with my dog, and when it came time to say good by to our Goldie, again Dr Bola and staff were very compassionate. I wouldn't take my pets any were else.
We just returned home after taking in our mini Schnauzer to be euthanized. Sari was a wonderful dog, but at age 17, it was her time. Blind, hard of hearing, and it appeared she had a severe stroke. The vet and his assistant were WONDERFUL and COMPASSIONATE. We are grateful that our dog left this life with so much gentleness and love. I highly recommend this facility and vet.
never go to this place a hour and a half after i left my dog died
While I'm sorry to hear of the lady losing her dog shortly after returning home, vets are not perfect when it comes to the science of the body. Neither are doctors for humans. I have used Dr. Bola for years now and never had any issues at all with his care of my pets. He has performed micro surgery on my parakeet's wing which was ripped off (and saved it's life) when no other vets would even see my parakeet. great for emergency visits – this place is awesome!!! i had an emergency where my cat had a bb from a pellet gun stuck in his face. it was horrible and no fault of my own. it was also sunday . needless to say i was panicked, so i brought him to comprehensive because they were the only place open. the vet was very nice and helpful. he did have to keep my kitty overnight because of some anesthesia, but he kept me very informed. more than i would normally pay, but it was an emergency. cat is good as new. i will definitely take ... read more
Not so good – These reviews sound fake to me. Have heard not so nice things about this place. A dog in a cage that died just left so the owner seen it . How horrible
The only place Ill take my furkids afterhours! – Dr Bola dropped off a pizza where I was working years ago when he 1st opened. I have sent him many a night time emergency and scores of very happy clients since.Hes treated my dog show friends Champions, my room mates elderly cats and sat with my friends agonizing over putting an old pet down and showed compassion,understanding and a super bedside manner! Puppy Love – I cannot say enough wonderful things about this clinic. Dr. Bola and his techs are kind and sensitive to pets and their people. They are well informed, but also willing to do the research and put in the effort to find the best solutions and up-to-date information. We found them by chance two years ago when our dog had a late night emergency. (The doctor is on-call 24 hours).
