Update July 2026: unfortunately Imelda has left the gym and is no longer teaching CBXT classes. This is a huge loss for the gym as she was a valuable asset and a big draw. Members who were dedicated to Imelda's amazing and fun classes are very disappointed. While the lunchtime CBXT classes are still on the schedule, the vibe is very different now. Such a shame. The place and trainers are cool. No one judges you as a newcomer and the equipments stay clean.
First gym membership I’ve bought that I’ve used pretty consistently. People are really respectful and friendly, it’s not overcrowded (I actually feel calm at the gym lol) and they have all the amenities you need. Love that they have a sauna / steam room (a lot of Equinox’s don’t have a sauna at way steeper of a price), though I wish they upped the temp in the sauna. Otherwise, a honestly wonderful experience.
If I could give 10 stars, no doubt I would've done it for sure. I wasn't feeling comfortable in the gym on 57 street and was super close to close membership but then decided to try financial district....no clue why ppl pay for equinox when we have complete body in downtown. Fantastic gym, super clean, not very crowded, enough space even privacy can be found there. Classes are great, trainers are brilliant, staff is super kind and supportive. A very decent, clean, and spacious fitness center. A nice bonus is the Russian sauna and rock climbing.🧖♀️🧗♀️ Highly recommend it!
