Hired Bill in 2021 to put some rock down in our backyard. They put a french drain in that was not needed, and put a hole through our brick wall for drainage, and the hole was jagged. He didnt put all the rock down that we paid for, and really didnt finish the job so we didnt pay him the rest of the money. We have everything in writing, contracts and TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE which means that if he doesnt get the job done on that date, the contract is breached. Bill did not perform the work he agreed to. Hired him to stump grind multiple tree stumps to a certain depth. He got half way and said he couldn’t do anymore. I paid him in full based upon his word he would bring laborers back to trade his incomplete work for other landscape services. After 2 months of trying to schedule with him, I still could not get him committed to the project. Excuse after excuse, no positive result.
