The amount of brain damage caused by CHC by failing to have a competent sales person when we had to very quickly pull the trigger on the fire box and then they ultimately botched the installation on the interior and gave us the wrong color fire box on the outside is a waste of time. I am not sure why you would ever prepay for CHC. Dont use this company. They will make you pay for something well in advance then ship you the wrong product. Then blame you as with other reviews (miscommunication always from the client not them) ... read more
I purchased a direct vent fireplace from CHC. They have an excellent selection and are knowledgeable about the products in the showroom. Other reviewers noted poor communication at CHC and my rating is due to the same concern. Their policy of not scheduling an installation or service call until the night before leaves the customer unable to plan their day with regard to work or other activities. In my case the installation took place 5 hours past the scheduled time due to a CHC scheduling error. I missed two work meetings as... read more
