Dirk, the German mechanic, the careful, detail oriented, meticulous mechanic, think BMW perfection. He has been taking care of my airplane as it were his. Added bonus:he'sa CFII/Commercial pilot, so he understands you.
Great company to work with, Dirk is very knowledgeable, fair and helpful never cutting corners when it comes to maintaining your aircraft, I always feel confident and safe flying after the work he completes. I have owned and maintained numerous aircraft since 1974, I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good and reliable, local shop to have maintenance provided for their aircraft.
Fair pricing and quality work. Have had several pre-buys and annuals with CAM over 10 years on 172's, 182's PA 180's, and a 235. Very good at describing the "Have to's" "Should's" and "Can wait's" as to not gouge on time or materials. Even offers to take a test flights (which I've taken him up on) after major work.
Dirk is always pretty fair with the charity we work with. He is honest and doesn't cut corners and is always good in a pinch.
