My heater was blowing out black smoke and shutting off, and had to restart. Competitive Heating technician came out, and access the problem. Fixed the problem by all the steps to restarting it. My boiler runs like champ and no black smoke coming out my stacks. Great job

I called them because they installed our heater system when the old owners had the house and when I called just because they were the ones that installed it and we were told that we had a warranty the gentleman that called me back was so rude I would never recommend this company to anyone!

I hired Competitive Heating and Cooling for a heat inspection, and the tech rushed through, spent only minutes on site, and immediately condemned the furnace, claiming it was cracked and leaking carbon monoxide. When I asked for proof, he said there were no photos and refused to share the video, saying his boss had to approve it. I paid another company and got second and third opinions from PSEG — all confirmed the furnace was perfectly safe. Careless, misleading, and could’ve cost me thousands. Avoid this company.

Our ceiling was leaking and David was excellent, prompt, efficient to the max!!! He double checked his work and was very thorough and polite with the explanations. We HIGHLY recommend Competitive Heating and Air Conditioning!!!
