We had a leak that kept showing up in the upstairs ceiling every time it rained hard. Two other places just wanted to patch it and move on. A Competitive Inc actually got up there and figured out the flashing around the chimney was the real problem, not the shingles like everyone assumed. They fixed it properly and we haven't seen a single drip since, even through some nasty storms this spring. Glad we didn't settle for the cheap patch!
Went looking for a roofer back in early spring after seeing some curled shingles from the driveway. Got three estimates and Ernie was really the only one who got up on the roof before quoting. Took about two weeks from signing to the install day. They kept me up to date about the material delivery and when the crew would show. Install itself was one long day, gutters cleared out by evening, and the roof looks straight and tight.
