Our family received the best care for both our Mom and Dad. The care team (Kandis, Alex, Brenda, Alyssa and Stephanie) provided the very best comfort and support during the last few months of my parent’s lives. Five days a week, someone was coming into their home to check up on them. The communication from the care team before every visit was astounding. The staff at Compassus in Washington are fabulous. They not only are wonderful with the care of my mom, but they’ve been available to help me wade through my concerns as well. I appreciate everything, no matter how small, that each of them has done or provided us from an encouraging smile, to friendly advice, to phone calls to check in or photos to show my mom’s happy face. Compassus stepped in after a horrible experience with another hospice provider. We felt like we went from a 1-star experience to 5-stars. Immediately, they got to work on improving my dad’s quality of life and improved his level of care. They are a team who works with you to make sure all needs are met. They gave my dad excellent care and gave me updates after seeing him each time. Their kindness and compassion for my dad were amazing. My entire family is grateful to the team for helping us through such a difficult time.
The hospice team at Compassus were absolutely wonderful and easy to work with. We had regular updates, visits and pictures of our family member. Brenda spent quality time getting to know us and our loved one. Discussed concerns with us and was instrumental in getting our loved one into another facility closer to home.
