My initial experience was good, but I've been trying to get work done under the warranty for months and no one will return my calls or emails. This place isn't related to Compass Windows out of Chicago, no matter what they claim.
This project was done efficiently. The workers were in and out within hours and extremely friendly and informative. They were able to adjust to my schedule. The quote they received was extremely fair! Edit - piece of the window broke a year plus ago. I've been trying to contact Jim and his team for a year plus now to get a repair as this is under warranty. They have not answered the phone, email or text. Very disappointed.
Put a deposit down on doors in SEP 2023...here we are in min APR of 2024 - still no doors. James has since ghosted us with not a word from him since JAN 2024 when he promised a discount and installation by the end of FEB. I've called the door manufacturer - he never even placed an order for the doors. Rest assured - we will be taking full legal action against Jim and his business to have our money returned. I have been waiting over a year to get an appointment for Jim to come out and fix my windows. He made an appointment with me knowing I was in ill health for a few years coming from another state and he never showed up to the appointment. I am currently living in the property now and I reached out to Jim the beginning of June and he got back to me on June 20 saying he’ll call me next week to make an appointment and he has not yet contacted me to make an appointment. I paid for half my storm door over 2 months ago and still have not had it installed. At first they kept giving me dates, now for the past 2 weeks, they have not answered or returned any of my calls. I am now out over $600 and am going to try to call my credit card company to get my money back as obviously this was a scam and so terrible to do to someone! I am a school teacher and can't afford to have my money taken like this!
