Would NOT recommend. I should have read these reviews first, but here I am. Crew came out after a couple of weeks. Told them why I needed the survey done, to determine a setback for a new project. When I got the first survey back, it had some minor issues but the setback was acceptable. They offered to fix it for free, and I accepted, they didn't warn me that I wouldn't be able to use or have signed the first survey version once I agreed to have it fixed. If I could give zero stars, I would. I waited 38 days for my survey, even though they said it would take 18 business days. When I finally received my survey, after emailing them several times because they never answered their phone, they emailed it to me, and said that it was not signed. And if I want it to be signed, I have to let them know, and they will take next steps. I also noticed that they did not mark my septic tank, my leech field, my water, well, nor my chain-link fence. Do not use this company or you will be sorry. They took the money right away and then they forget about it. After 3 weeks and a couple of calls and emails, they showed up. I explained to them why I need the survey, they did the measurement and again they forget about it. two weeks later and a couple of calls, they send a survey but only on half of the property. I explained to them that I need the other side of the property and nothing. They did not give me the survey I need it.
I am a general contractor, and I asked Compass surveying to do a formboard survey for one of my jobs only because they did the original survey. It is taking them 1 month to complete the survey for me. So my job is sitting there doing nothing for 3 weeks while I'm waiting for them! I need the survey for inspection before I can continue working on the job. This is unbelievable. Should only take a few days for a formboard survey.
