Olivia is amazing!! She is warm and welcoming, and the environment is very calming. She is excellent at listening to your needs and goals and then implements them into her work! I have just had my second therapeutic massage at Compass Rose, and I feel relaxed and invigorated all at once. At the beginning of the session, Olivia discusses with you what you would prefer to be the focus of the massage (back, hips, legs, etc.). In addition, she picks up from your conversation what other areas may need attention. She checks in to make sure you are comfortable (temperature, degree of pressure, etc.) as she works. Full disclosure: I'm a close friend of Olivia's. That said, I'm also a scientist and pretty much expert at dissociating my personal bias from objective truth. Of the approximate 32 massages I've received in my lifetime, I can say with at least 98.7% objectivity that Olivia has given me best massage I've ever had. I've received massages from folks who seem distracted or disinterested. Olivia was totally present, and was tuned in to me from the moment I walked in the door.
