The baby classes are fantastic. Jordanna makes everyone feel at ease, even if you have an energetic baby who isnt keen to do the same as everyone else. I would highly recommend trying the classes
We just celebrated my son’s 4th birthday at Compass (101 park Ave), and it was AMAZING! My daughter has done the baby program there, and my son has taken swim lessons with them at Xcel, so I was confident it’d be great, but my expectations were blown away. The space is very much a blank canvas, but there are tables and toys available for use. There are also overhead lights that can change color to match the theme/vibe. Jordanna runs a great program. The staff is well trained and knowledgeable. I was impressed at the depth and variation of the programs to keep kids engaged and learning.
My 6 year old used to be very scared of the pool but thanks to his instructor Devin he has become very comfortable being in water and he is steadily progressing in his swimming journey. Devin has a great ability to help fearful children get comfortable with water without scaring them or making them uncomfortable!
