This place is a joke. It’s so frustrating. My husband began having seizures a couple years ago and at the beginning people kept telling us they were panic attacks and he was just stressed out. That it was all in his head. We went here during one of his seizures to get it ruled out as a panic attack and maybe have someone finally believe us. This is my least favorite crisis center in the area. They act like they only will treat people close to them, even though they are supposed to not have catchment areas. Their job is to help people in crisis, however they are extremely picky in who they help. It is way easier to get help and resources from either Burrell or KCATC. I would definitely try those first and use this center as a last resort.
