Despite claiming to be LGBTQ+ friendly, I was really embarrassed while getting my hair cut. I asked if I was thinning on top at all (which is already a really sensitive question), to which Cat said yes, and asked if I was on any medication that may cause that. I told her I was a trans man on testosterone, then she proceeded to loudly discuss this in front of other customers. Haven't been to a barber shop in a year and honestly couldn't remember how to describe what I wanted, but she was patient and ask questions and fot it figured it out.
Update: The owner refunded the haircut after I followed up. I appreciate them making that part right. My original review still reflects our experience with the haircut and service. I want to be fair and acknowledge that the business did follow through with the refund. ——- Anna seemed agitated and stressed, and rushed our cut.
