I cannot recommend Comparti Catering highly enough. I accidentally booked the catering for our prewedding party for the wrong date and only realized on the day of the party. It was entirely my mistake, yet with just five hours of notice, they turned it around and made it happen. Members of their team even volunteered to come in on their day off to help us. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Comparti as a planner, as well as experiencing them as a guest at an event they catered, so I can confidently say that both their food and their team are amazing! My husband and I found Comparti through our Venue but we visited their restaurant in Fort Greene and we knew we had to have them. We wanted not your typical wedding food, but something that still everyone would enjoy and we got just that. The team from day 1 was so attentive and curious on feedback and our vision. Emma and Melissa made the entire planning process seamless with their professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Wow, I’m surprised by the reviews. I guess our wedding was the exception. It really sucks because it’s the one day you need everything to go according to plan, but Comparti dropped the ball for us. It seems like they’re doing much better for other clients. The tasting was amazing, and on the day of our wedding everything went perfectly except the catering.
