In my search for something I really liked, and visiting the usual home improvement stores and other stone dealers, I met Neus Fuster, the area sales manager at the Compac showroom in NYC a few months ago. She was an incredible help to me in explaining the qualities of the different materials / slabs, pricing, and even connected me with their warehouse in NJ to go see the full-sized slab of the countertop I selected. Purchased a quartz slab for our kitchen counter in our brand new home. The “unstainable” stone stained within weeks of installation and the company has failed to follow up with us despite multiple complaints and an ongoing “investigation” for the last 7 months. We believe the stone must be fake and the company is fraudulent. Avoid!

I visited the showroom at the direction of my contractor, who suggested multiple vendors. I was pleasantly surprised to meet Neus, who went the extra mile to explain styles, options, and best possible combinations that fit my apartment renovation. This did not occur with any of the other vendors, who did not seem to have time, or interest, and where the process was limited to looking at one of those big books, with photos of the stones.
