Another Island Health clinic that, based on my mother’s & my experience, arbitrarily chooses which health authority guidelines to follow and which to ignore. Case in point: decreeing (incorrectly) that anyone who has a GP cannot access services here. Our healthcare system is in total crisis, and this place is proof of this.
The person who picked up the phone Saturday May 16, 2026 8:53am ish is the most condescending person ever and should never be talking to people on phone. Rude with zero empathy. They shouldn’t be working in healthcare. I called that i had a 19month old crying out of pain, “she asked from what”? I said i don’t know that’s why i want her checked. Based off our last experiences, this clinic is typically a 5/5. Not only has it been a godsend in times of need for my daughter's, but they're always on time (reasonably late sometimes) and the office is clean, the medical receptionists are very kind, and they always always have great drs. HOWEVER .. the experience today 11/04/2026 was not only a terrible waste of time but extremely infuriating.
