Daughter went in for a seriously bad sore throat. Was told it was viral and told to take lozenges to help with the pain. The pain was immense and ibuprofen did not touch it. Next day, she went for a second opinion down the street. She was immediately given an IV with ibuprofen and a steroid. Additionally she was given lidocaine gargle to provide some relief. I took my wife to CareNow today because she was sick. We were scheduled to go to the Lewisville location but the Lantana location called to say we could be seen there sooner if we wanted to drive to there location. So I took my wife in she was called back immediately with no wait after my wife was seen by the doctor I clearly understood why there were no patients at this location due to the fact of how unknowable the doctor was. I went to CareNow today because I was sick. I saw Dr. Kristina Cox turns out I had an upper respiratory infection. I had a fever a bad headache a bad sore throat and lots of congestion. She runs a Covid test and strep test both come back negative. So she gives me a prescription for cough medicine and sends me on my way. Nothing to clear up the infection nothing to make me start feeling better.
