I just moved to this nice neighborhood in Allen, TX and the garbage service is so much worse than my previous neighborhood. First of all they only collect recycling every two weeks which might be standard here but with Amazon boxes etc it just isn’t enough! We should be recycling as much as possible and they’re forcing us to put stuff in garbage bags since they don’t collect it often enough. So I broke down all the boxes and sat them out next to my recycling and garbage and they didn’t take them! Am I crazy? What’s the problem here? Then they didn’t take the garbage at all. I had non-recyclable styrofoam pieces and a pizza box (not marked recyclable) but they just left it and picked up everyone else’s! I don’t understand! What am I going to do with a bunch of trash for another week, and where am I going to put my new garbage and if not in the can will they even take it??? And now it rained and the cardboard got wet so I have to store wet cardboard for two weeks?!?! That’s going to MOLD! Wtf
