I was sent there from the Oakland County Jail in or around 2001. To be honest with you,I was surprised that this place is still around! For the most part it was like any other "hard core" treatment program,and Ive been in several of them. Like every other program ive been in the end result is your directed to attend 12 step meetings upon release.Was the place clean? Not really,but Ive seen worse. Was the food plentiful and good? This place tries to help
I have been to prison twice before encountering CPI, in my opinion the MDOC paled in comparison to the desolation of this place. Never have I experienced anything worse or been degraded worse than I ever have any where I've been. The staff believe that they are holier than now and you are punished for being a human being, their most common punishment is making you stand on a wall with your hands behind your back for an hour and a half and being forced to tell a crowd of people in detail why you bummed a cigarette from somebo... read more
