The week of Christmas I had an allergic reaction to a medication. It was prescribed to me by my Rheumatologist for a chronic condition. I spent 7 1/2 hours at the ER ( my Dr had been called first and knew I was going to ER). The next day I called my Rheumatologist to tell them about allergic reaction and meds that were prescribed. I went to the Fishkill location today for an appointment and had a horrible experience. When I was brought back to a room the “nurse MA phlebotomist” whatever her title is was discussing why I was here today in the hallway which is a violation of HIPAA. Not only that but she had no respect for patient privacy as she left the exam room door open the entire time.
