This place is truly a hidden gem in our area! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and took time to explain all of the different images of stars and planets being projected from these amazing telescopes! We sat in the dome for the star viewing and learned a lot about the different stars, constellations etc. from the staff, truly beautiful!

Friendly volunteers that really loved answering all my kids questions. A constellation lecture while looking at the stars was really cool too.

Such a great experience every time. It’s dark enough to get a stunning view of the night sky, with plenty of telescopes available. The guides are incredibly knowledgeable, they set everything up and walk you through the sky, pointing out constellations and planets with laser beams. It makes the whole experience feel immersive and special. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at the Community Observatory. It started off with an overview of the night sky. Then, we were able to look through the microscopes. I highly recommend!

I wanted to see the stars and luckily this place was an hour away from home. Such a cool experience!!! There were staff teaching us about the planets, star names, and constellations. There were telecopes set to certain ones like Orion, Pleiades, Jupiter and Uranus. It was a very nice night and so cool that it is a free event. Picture below is a bright Jupiter, just from my phone!
