Avoid if possible. Psychiatrists that I have had the misfortune of meeting need to improve their skills, firstly by listening to the patient or their full time carer(not so much when they are psychotic or recovering) due to delirium, which unfortunately they do not recognize, but when the patient has recovered or is lucid. My daughter has had several delirious episodes due to medication and medication alone.
